On November 14 2025, the Montessori Global Awards Ceremony brought together educators, community leaders, and innovators from around the world to celebrate outstanding contributions to child-centred education. For the first time, the Awards were held as a live in-person ceremony in London, creating a vibrant space to honour those making a meaningful difference in education.

From grassroots initiatives providing learning opportunities for children, to educators fostering inclusion and creativity in classrooms and museums, each Award Recipient exemplifies the transformative power of learner-led education.

The evening featured inspiring contributions from our CEO, Karen Chetwynd, who shared the vision for Montessori education and upcoming initiatives, highlighting how these Awards connect to a broader mission of supporting children and communities worldwide. Sarah Tucker guided the ceremony with warmth, clarity, and a deep understanding of the impact of Montessori practice, ensuring that each presentation resonated with the audience both in person and online.

The ceremony recognised achievements across multiple categories, including Outstanding Contribution to Montessori in Practice, Innovation in Inclusion, Educator of the Year and, for the first time, the Momentum in Montessori Awards, recognising individuals who continue to make a meaningful difference in their communities.

Many recipients joined us virtually, sharing inspiring messages from Pakistan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Colombia, the UAE, while others received their awards in person, enriching the celebration.

We are grateful to all guests, partners, and trustees who attended – both online and in person – for their support, and to the Award Recipients who shared their vision and impact with us. Their dedication reminds us of the importance of nurturing environments that empower children, families, and educators worldwide.

The Montessori Global Awards continue to shine a spotlight on excellence, innovation, and the profound impact of education guided by curiosity, care, and compassion.
