70 for 70th – Host Centres across the globe

2024 is Montessori Global Education’s 70th anniversary year. As part of our celebrations, and our ongoing efforts to lead Montessori education into the future, we’re launching our 70 for 70th drive.

70 for 70th is our goal to establish 70 new STAR Host Centres across the globe, all delivering our tried and tested Montessori training. Host Centres enable international learners to access our wide portfolio of courses, qualifications and training in their own country. They also help providers develop and enhance the support, guidance and training they offer to educators.

Is becoming a Host Centre right for a provider like me?

Whatever your size and scope, Host Centre Approval status suits a range of different types of provider, including – but not limited to – those:

• keen to host staff training, facilitate teaching courses or tutor trainees through a range of sector qualifications
• hoping to enhance in-house training provision
• wanting to branch out and establish a professional qualifications division for their staff support network
• who are solo practitioners looking to move into the next stage of their own career, developing a reputation as a training provider within their own community.
• with aspirations to set up a regional training offer, becoming the go-to partner for local early-years graduates who want to specialise in Montessori, or develop their professional qualifications, and
• already operating as an established and expertly staffed educational setting with staff-based in the locality, preparing to host CPD and internal training events to support on-going recruitment of staff.

Our Standards and Principles

We ask that our Centres remain committed to our STAR Standards and Principles:

• Connected, blended learning, accessible to all
• Learners are enabled to explore and apply theories and techniques relevant to programmes of study
• Learners’ skills, understanding, ability and confidence are all facilitated
• Reflective practice is an integral feature of provision
• Consistent, directed learning experiences are worthwhile, engaging and relevant to all courses and qualifications

In short, we ensure that all Host Centres share our commitment to providing excellent educator training and preparation. This increases the success and confidence of graduates to secure their positions as leaders within their own community, helps them get the best start to their lifelong learning journey.
