If I asked you to think
of a leader…
¿POR QUÉ NO?
WHY NOT???
La palabra Líder o el término Liderazgo a veces puede resultar desafiante, ya que no siempre es fácil de definir.
¿Podría ser esto porque es difícil entender la diferencia entre Liderazgo y Director / Líder y Gerente? Estos dos términos a menudo se utilizan indistintamente, PERO ¿significan lo mismo?
- ¿Podría ser porque consideramos el Liderazgo como un rol formal o reconocemos el liderazgo como algo posicional? Liderazgo posicional: derechos otorgados por la posición y el título.
- ¿Podría ser debido a que existen mitos en torno a lo que es o no es el liderazgo?
The word Leader or term Leadership can sometimes prove challenging as it is not always easy to define.
- Could this be because it is challenging to understand the distinction between Leadership and Management/ Leader and Manager? These two terms are often used interchangeably BUT do they mean the same thing?
- Could this be because we consider Leadership to be a formal role or that we recognise positional leadership? Positional leadership – rights granted by position and title.
- Could it be because there are myths around what leadership is or what it is not?

En algún momento, en mayor o menor medida, la mayoría de las personas han sido líderes. Entonces, ¿por qué cuando se nos pide que pensemos en un líder, no pensamos en nosotros mismos?

At some point, to a greater or lesser extent most people have been leaders so why when we are asked to think about a leader, we do not picture ourselves.
