Our collaboration with Home-Start West Somerset – Watch our short film!

Montessori Global Education proudly continues its collaboration with Home-Start West Somerset to enrich their vital family support work – putting children and young families at the heart of everything they do.

Our work together started in 2023, focussed on supporting provision for families with the youngest children – babies and their parents and care-givers – providing essential guidance, reassurance and confidence-building opportunities where families need it most: in homes, local communities and within support networks.

Montessori Global Education offered its interactive study programme to the Home-Start West Somerset team. Learners were given a dedicated tutor, space for guided reflection, and support in identifying how to put their learning into practice. The team now applies a Montessori, child-centred approach across several programmes of work, including Baby Start.

International Montessori Awards 2024 – Winners Announced!

We are proud to announce the recipients of our 2024 International Montessori Awards, which recognise individuals and organisations working to promote excellence in education – highlighting those make a meaningful difference in their community.

We were hugely impressed with the quality and range of nominations this year, submitted from all around the world. Each submission demonstrated the nominees’ deep commitment to a holistic, Montessori approach to education (whether Montessori in name or not!), social and emotional learning, and helping young people thrive.

We thank and congratulate every single one of our nominees for the vital work they do – going above and beyond for their learners.

This year, our judging panel included two previous Award winners – Lynn Cumpsty-Steyn, Chief Executive Officer, help2read, and winner of the International Montessori Award for Education for Social Change, 2023; and Soraya Cofie. Montessori Parent Coach & Education Consultant Founder, Montessori Community College and winner of the International Montessori Award for Outstanding Contribution to Montessori in Practice, 2022. Those judges brought their unique perspectives and wide experience to the judging panel – enriching our reflections and decision making.
