NOTE: We may be able to offer a replacement certificate if your original issued certificate has been misplaced or damaged – this service is open to some graduates from MCI, but please do see conditions below.

Conditions:

    • We are unable to issue either a Replacement Certificate or Proof of Qualification material for any qualification awarded before 1 September 1994.
    • Qualifications completed through Montessori St Nicholas (MSN) or London Montessori Centre (LMC), cannot be replaced or verified. These two awarding bodies ceased operation in 2002. As these organisations are closed, we are unable to issue replacement certificates or transcripts on their behalf.
    • If your qualification was Awarded by NCFE CACHE, you will be signposted to:
    • Similarly, if your certificate was awarded by London Metropolitan University (CertHE or a Foundation Degree) and require a replacement certificate – please contact them directly by clicking here.
    • Replacement Certificates can only be requested for qualifications awarded within the last 10 academic years (from the date of enrolment). For any certificated qualifications awarded before this date, we may be able to issue a Letter of Support/ Proof of Qualification, if  we can locate a record of your achievement to support the qualification. This might be possible, if records remain, and will be managed on a case-by-case basis. There is no guarantee that we will be able to locate previous study records from this time period as we only have access to some files from previous training records, as these study routes are no longer operational.

Notes regarding Replacement Certificates:

    • Please note that any Replacement Certificate is a replica of your original, with ‘Replacement Certificate’ added to the front of the certificate.
    • We will request that you complete a Replacement Certificate form and submit this along with relevant supporting information – the form will be made available to you from connect@montessori.org.uk
    • There is a fee for Replacement Certificates, Transcripts and Letters of Support (“Proof of Qualification”), the appropriate fees will be quoted to you along with the application form stated above.
    • Where a transcript was issued as part of your original certificate, a copy can also be included with your Replacement Certificate, again noting that it is a Replacement document.
    • Once we have received a Replacement Certificate request, our team will aim to make contact with you (“the applicant”) within four working days to confirm whether or not we are able to issue you with a Replacement, and to request payment as appropriate.
