Montessori Global Awards 2025

Our longstanding annual awards programme celebrates excellence in education worldwide. The Montessori Global Awards recognise high-quality approaches to all kinds of education, highlighting those who have made a meaningful difference in their community.

We’re proud our awards are open to anyone working in education of any kind – any person, or any group, demonstrating a commitment to quality, inclusion, social and emotional learning, and helping young people thrive. Previously, awards have reached and recognised teachers, schools, community learning projects, social impact initiatives, non-professional staff, and children themselves.

In 2025, for the first time, the Montessori Global Awards will be celebrated through a live, in-person ceremony.

Our Categories for 2025 are

  • This award will celebrate an educational setting of any kind—whether a community project, school, or shared space that has created a nurturing, high-quality, child-let environment where children can thrive.
  • The winner of this award will be celebrated on Montessori Global Education’s website, social media channels and within its thriving online Network. We’ll invite them to collaborate with us on shared public coverage of their win and offer them a feature in our Network.

  • This award will celebrate any kind of educational project or group, based in or from a shared space or private home.
  • The winner will receive feature coverage within Montessori Global Education’s Network. We’ll collaborate with them on shared communications about their project and offer support with associated PR coverage to help amplify their work more widely.

• This award will celebrate someone who has made a meaningful positive difference in their community, going above and beyond for their learners.
• The winner of this award will be celebrated on Montessori Global Education’s website, social media channels and within its thriving online Network. We’ll invite them to collaborate with us on shared public coverage of their win and offer them a feature in our Network.

• This award will recognise an outstanding early years resource that has supported children’s development, curiosity, and love of learning, enabling educators and families to nurture children’s potential in a practical, meaningful way.
• The winner will receive recognition across Montessori Global Education channels, a tailored feature in our Network.

• This award will celebrate an individual or project demonstrating an exceptional commitment to lifelong learning, empowering people of all ages to grow, adapt, and thrive.
• The winner will receive a tailored feature across Montessori Global Education channels.

• This award will celebrate a project, educator, or organisation using the creative arts in innovative ways to foster learning, wellbeing, and expression for children and young people.
• The winner will receive a feature across the Montessori Global Education platforms and Network, showcasing their inspiring practice.

• This award will celebrate a project, setting, or educator creating truly inclusive learning environments, removing barriers for children and families and empowering every learner to thrive. We believe that every child with special educational needs and disabilities deserves the best start in life.
• The winner will receive a feature across the Montessori Global Education platforms and Network, showcasing their inspiring practice.

• This award will celebrate a young person who shows a passion for sustainability –through their own sustainable actions, helping to educate others and/or by working to raise awareness within their community.
• We’ll invite this winner and their parents to collaborate with us on shared public coverage of their win and offer them celebratory coverage in our Network.

  • Celebrating a practitioner or an organisation that has worked tirelessly to promote and champion Montessori in practice, nominated by family, friends, children.
  • The winner will be recognised across Montessori Global Education’s platforms and within its international Network. We’ll invite them to collaborate with us on shared public coverage of their win and offer a dedicated feature in our Network.
