Montessori Global Awards 2026

Our longstanding annual awards programme recognises excellence in education worldwide. The Montessori Global Awards acknowledge high-quality approaches to education, highlighting individuals, organisations and initiatives making a meaningful difference in their communities.

Our awards are open to anyone working in education of any kind – individuals, groups and organisations demonstrating a commitment to quality, inclusion, social and emotional learning, and helping children and young people thrive.

Over the years, the Montessori Global Awards have recognised educators, educational settings, community learning projects, social impact initiatives, non-teaching staff and young people themselves.

Sharing Our Award Recipients’ Stories

We believe that recognising meaningful contributions to education is also an opportunity to share experiences, exchange ideas and inspire others.

Beyond the awards announcement, we hope to continue highlighting the work of our recipients through tailored opportunities to share their stories and experiences with our international community.

Depending on the nature of their work, interests and preferred ways of engaging, some recipients may be invited to take part in interviews, contribute to Network features or join conversations with others across the education community.

Our approach will be shaped by each recipient’s individual contribution, with the aim of sharing their work in ways that feel relevant, meaningful and valuable to them and to the wider community.
