Elevating Youth Perspectives and Global Citizenship Through Youth-Led Design

Since 1998, Global Nomads has connected over one million youth across 60+ countries, giving them safe, structured spaces to dialogue, learn, and co-create solutions that bridge divides. Our mission is to unite global youth in experiences that provide the connection, skill building, and support they need to create a better world for us all.

How the Program Works

CCL interns work in multinational, cross-cultural teams to collaboratively design insightful courses on global issues that matter to them – from climate justice and neurodiversity to human rights and AI. These young creators shape content that reflects their unique perspectives, turning global challenges into collaborative, youth-led learning experiences for their peers around the world.

Youth designers not only develop robust curriculum skills (research, lesson design, assessment) but also gain essential real-world competencies:

● Intercultural Communication
● Curriculum Design (utilizing Backward Mapping)
● Collaborative Leadership

The Impact: Free, Youth-Designed Courses

The work of the CCL culminates in the creation of our open-access Student to World courses, which live on our free online learning platform, NomadVerse (available at nomadverse.org). Student to World courses are also available to be integrated into school curricula and classrooms, please connect with us if you want to learn more about it.

These peer-created resources are designed to nurture global citizenship and empathy. They are available to anyone, anywhere, completely free of charge.

Partner with Global Nomads

Global Nomads’ Content Creation Lab and Student to World programs are living examples of the power of youth-led innovation in shaping inclusive education. We invite Montessori educators and partners to explore our Student to World courses on NomadVerse and integrate these youth-created courses into your curriculum.

GNG created the Content Creation Lab to counter youth isolation during the Pandemic. Global youth were reaching out, looking for a virtual “third space” (not school or home) where they could find purpose and a sense of belonging.

The innovation has endured well beyond the Pandemic lock-down period; multiple youth reach out daily to inquire about opportunities to join this powerful youth community.
