We are delighted to share some exciting news with our Network community – our newest Approved Host Centre in Albania has officially been recognised as a provider of adult Montessori training. This milestone not only celebrates the establishment of the centre itself, but also honours the dedication, vision, and journey that Marsela and her team, have undertaken to bring it to life. We’re proud to support her in fulfilling this long-held dream, as she opens this inspiring new chapter in Montessori education, alongside her Accredited Nursery, Montessori International Tirana.

This recognition reflects the deep commitment, care, and vision that are shaping the training centre into a place where adult learners are supported, inspired, and equipped to carry forward the values of Montessori education. It’s a proud moment for all of us, as it highlights what we stand for: learner-centred practice, thoughtful preparation, and a dedication to nurturing the next generation of educators.

The centre is more than a venue – it’s a hub of knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and transformation. Every detail has been considered to create an environment where adults feel empowered to grow, reflect, and develop the skills needed to guide children with respect and understanding. This recognition affirms what many of us already know: that this is a place where meaningful learning happens every day, and where the legacy of Montessori education is actively being passed on.

This recognition is a powerful affirmation of the work being done to support adults in their journey as Montessori educators. Marsela has created more than just a beautiful space – she’s created an environment where knowledge is shared, skills are nurtured, and the values of Montessori education are passed on with integrity and care. I’m incredibly proud of how this centre supports the next generation of educators, ensuring that the principles of child-centred learning continue to thrive well into the future.

Karen Chetwynd, CEO of Montessori Global Education

“Becoming an Approved Host Centre marks a truly exciting chapter for Montessori Tirana. It reflects the growth of our vision and our deep commitment to not only nurturing children, but also empowering educators. This step allows us to contribute meaningfully to the Montessori community, while giving our team and school community a strong sense of pride and purpose. Also will be easy for me to promote my staff from assistants to lead teachers if they decide to take the diploma.

It also allows us to share the unique practices and culture we’ve built over the years, while also attracting passionate educators who are eager to learn and grow. It strengthens our impact beyond our classrooms and supports the broader Montessori community.

Sharing our expertise with the next generation of educators is both a responsibility and an honour. It means inspiring others with the Montessori philosophy, cultivating thoughtful, prepared adults, and ensuring that the values we believe in—respect, independence, and a love of learning—continue to flourish in future classrooms.

This step is important because it strengthens our team’s professional growth and unity, while also deepening our connection with the wider community.

Becoming an Approved Host Centre allows us to lead by example, raise educational standards locally, and create a supportive environment where children, families, and educators all thrive together. Its hard to find trained local staff so I want to fill a gap by providing a training centre.”
